For security reasons, only registered guests and hotel staff are permitted on the premises after 10:00 PM. All visitors must present valid identification upon request by hotel staff. Visitors and non-registered guests are not allowed in guest rooms or public areas after 10:00 PM.

Loud music, parties, or disruptive behaviour are not permitted after 10:00 PM.

Guests may not use any Stey hotel as a registered residential address.

A security deposit may be required at check-in. This deposit may be used to cover costs related to:

• Damage to guest rooms, furnishings, or public areas. Guests are fully responsible for any damage caused to the hotel property.

• Rooms left in an excessively dirty condition requiring additional cleaning.

Stey Stavanger is a strictly non-smoking hotel. If smoking is detected or suspected in a room, a fee of NOK 5,000 will be charged.

Fire alarms triggered due to negligence resulting in an emergency response. In such cases, a fee of NOK 15,000 will apply.

If the cost of damages, cleaning, or penalties exceeds the deposit amount — or if no deposit was collected — the hotel reserves the right to charge the remaining amount directly to the guest.

Management reserves the right to refuse service or require guests to leave the property in the event of a breach of hotel policies or disruptive behaviour.

Stey Stavanger is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or the loss of money, valuables, or personal belongings.
